Saquon Barkley is in New Orleans with his family, gearing up for Super Bowl LIX.

On Sunday, Feb. 9, the 28-year-old, who celebrates his birthday today, will join the Philadelphia Eagles to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. Barkley played a pivotal role in his team’s dominant 55-23 victory over the Washington Commanders on January 26, securing their spot in the championship game.

“I ain’t gonna lie. I tried to downplay it in my head, but it’s amazing, man,” he admitted during a post-game interview, per Athlon Sports. “It’s amazing. We’re here. Super Bowl. But the goal wasn’t just getting there. The goal’s to win, and we’re gonna celebrate, enjoy this, and get right back to work.”

According to Sportskeeda, Barkley is worth $32 million, and his average annual salary is over $12 and a half million. Per  Bleacher Report, according to the terms of his contract, he scored a $250k bonus incentive just for the Sunday victory that sent him to the Super Bowl. If the team wins the Super Bowl, he’ll pocket another $250k.

How Many Kids Does Saquon Barkley Have?

At just 28 years old, Barkley is already a father of two with his longtime girlfriend, now fiancée, Anna Congdon.

According to Just Jared, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Jada, in April 2018. Congdon shared a sweet collection of photos from the hospital, captioning, “When two became three,” on April 24, 2018. The pair also welcomed their second child, son Saquon Jr., in September 2022.

Barkley may not be married yet, but that’s about to change! While speaking to PEOPLE, the athlete shared how much Congdon has supported him throughout his career and revealed that the two are engaged.

“I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have so in my career without the help of her. She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on. But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.”

He added, “And it’s a beautiful thing because we have two amazing children that we were raised it and we just sit back and laugh sometimes when they’re over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.”

Barkley and Congdon, an Instagram personality and model, have been dating since late 2016 after meeting at Penn State University. The couple went Instagram official with a sweet photo in front of a Christmas tree on December 11, 2016. Congdon playfully captioned the photo, “He’s alright on the field, but you should see him on the dance floor.
